Life as a member of the British Royal Family is anything but boring these days. They’re in a quite exciting season of their lives with weddings, pregnancy announcements, and births. Two of the biggest events thus far in 2018 was the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis, and the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.
These two topics have dominated the headlines, causing the world to have an even greater sense of closeness to the family. Even from reading stories and seeing images of the events, we feel as though we know them a little better, and like they might be a little bit like us in more ways than we’d originally thought.
It’s safe to say that these topics of interest will not be fizzling out anytime soon. Our interest in the growth of the little Prince and the blossoming of the marriage of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex will only continue to grow with time.
Despite these two events flooding media outlets, there are other events taking place within the palace walls that we shan't forget. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Eugenie, will also be getting married to her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, in the fall of 2018.
Though this wedding will still be on a grand scale, it will likely not get the attention that Prince Harry and Meghan garnered with their elaborate ceremony. Nevertheless, learning more about the upcoming bride-to-be is something worthwhile.
Princess Eugenie is the 28-year-old daughter of Queen Elizabeth’s son, Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. She’s had a tendency to lay a bit lower in the media over the years but has recently come out with a bang in attempt to make herself known.
She made the bold, unorthodox choice to create a social media account, which is highly frowned upon in the royal family. Against the odds, she marched forward with her decision so that she can better know the public and those who look up to her.
Recently, she posted an image of herself at a recent event to celebrate the Duke of York Gold Award achievers and their families. Behind her were a group of individuals who looked to be quite tickled by something the Princess had said. She made light of the situation and leaked a secret love of hers in the process.
She captioned the image: “So lovely meeting the incredible Duke of York Gold Award achievers and their families @dofeuk. In my next life, looks like I could be a comedian.” In the photo, she, herself, looks to be giggling as well. Many images on her account look quite similar where she or another pictured is laughing.
While we may not know as much about the Princess as we would like, she appears to be quite hilarious and lovable. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for Eugenie and her beau. In the meantime, we’ll be patiently waiting to hear an announcement of a comedy tour!
