It’s time that Meghan Markle steps aside, and let’s Princess Eugenie step up to the spotlight.
It’s been confirmed that Princess Eugenie’s wedding day ensemble will be on royal display sooner than later. Fans will be able to get unclose to the gorgeous wedding gown and tiara that the princess wore on her special day.
Currently, the featured royal wedding wardrobe belongs to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Harry and Meghan married in St. George’s Chapel in May 2019, but just five months later, Princess Eugenie and her longtime boyfriend followed in their footsteps - literally.
Princess Eugenie and Jack’s wedding day attire will replace Harry and Meghan’s “A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex” exhibit, which has been on display from October 26th, 2018, to January 6th, 2019. But of course, if fans would like to see their wedding ensemble, it will still be on display at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland come June 14th, 2019.
Fans are thrilled to be able to get an unclose look at Princess Eugenie’s gown. On her big day, she wore a beautifully fitted bodice and full pleated skirt, was designed by the British-based label, Peter Pilotto, in London in 2007.
The gown stuns with a neckline that folds down the shoulders, and a shockingly lower back. The low-cut back gave onlookers a peek at Princess Eugenie’s scar that she received after having scoliosis surgery. The low-cut back flowed down to a full-length train and created the perfect gown for a royal wedding.
But of course, one of the most exciting moments of all is that fans will have a chance to see the gorgeous tiara that Princess Eugenie wore. The royal bride opted for the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara. The wedding day tiara is set with brilliant and rose-cut diamonds. A large emerald stone is at its center with six emeralds spaced on either side - can you say gorgeous?
The beautiful attire will be full display at Windsor Castle in the coming weeks. Will you be making a trip over to Windsor to see the beautiful wedding-day wardrobe on display?!
