Prince William might be the future King of England, but Kate Middleton is raising the next three monarchs in line. Motherhood is no easy task and raising world-class leaders, and influencers only add to the job.
When William first began dating Kate, he spent more than seven years deciding if she was the one for him. More than just finding attraction and chemistry, William needed someone who would be okay with being in the spotlight and someone that could support his unique lifestyle and future. Finally, after nearly a decade of waiting, William decided that Catherine Middleton was the perfect girl for him.
Will and Kate married on April 29th, 2011. A year-and-a-half later, the couple found out they were expecting their first child. Kate’s body was severely affected by pregnancy and she was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), a severe type of nausea. Her pregnancy was difficult, but after a long nine months, the couple welcomed Prince George.
After such a difficult pregnancy, fans wondered if Kate would go through the pain of having another child. Both William and Kate wanted a sibling for little George and in 2015, Princess Charlotte was born. Fans were sure that given Kate’s experience with HG, she wouldn’t want to go through the pain of another child, but then in the Fall 2017, Kensington Palace announced a third pregnancy.
The world waited in great anticipation for the third little Cambridge and on April 23rd, Kate welcomed a baby boy- Prince Louis. Just seven hours after Kate delivered little Louis, she debuted him on the steps of the Lindo Wing. Kate’s speedy return to the spotlight was shocking to world and fans couldn’t believe that after nine months of severe suffering with HG and only 7 hours after birth, Kate appeared to be in better shape than ever.
But fans weren’t the only ones in total amazement of Kate’s perseverance and grace- Prince William was left astonished by his wife.
To show his love and adoration, William gifted Kate with a vibrant yellow citrine ring. Fittingly called a “push present,” William wanted to show his gratitude to Kate for enduring such difficult pregnancy with such grace.
Kate has only worn her present from William twice: she debuted the ring at Harry and Meghan’s wedding on May 19th and again during a weekend date at Wimbledon. The ring was paired perfectly with Kate’s vibrant yellow Dolce and Gabbana dress. How sweet is Prince William to gift Kate with something so beautiful? We adore their relationship and hope to see the Duchess wear her ring more often!
