It’s not often that the Queen of England shares too much about her family and personal life. After all, she is an international symbol of peace. That’s why, when we heard dish about her great-grandchildren, we were pretty interested!
Her Majesty has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Apart from being the Queen, her duties as a grandmother and great-grandmother keep her busy. Each grandchild and great-grandchild has a special relationship with Queen Elizabeth, as she’s managed to keep her family a priority in her life.
Two of her youngest great-grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time their great-grandmother!
Queen Elizabeth has gotten to know each of her grandchildren’s personalities well. During a recent royal outing, The Queen was chatting with a school girl who was the bigger sister. The Queen said, “Do you look after your little sister?”
The little girl’s mom let out a laugh and said, “It’s the other way around! The little one looks out for her big sister.”
This made Queen Elizabeth respond quickly! She looked at the little girl with a grin and said, “It’s like that with Charlotte and George.” The woman laughed while the Queen’s face remained let out a smile.
Even though Princess Charlotte is the youngest (for now), it sounds like she’s the boss! While Queen Elizabeth rarely talks so candidly about her family, the topic of her grandchildren proved to be entertaining to her because she never shares about them so personally! The Queen laughed at remembering her two great-grandchildren and Princess Charlotte’s larger than life confidence!
We wonder how if Prince Charlotte will be remain the boss once the new baby arrives in April or if big brother George will step in to be the new boss!
