There is no more interesting family on the planet than the British royal family. Their unorthodox way of living, their proper behaviors, classy attire, and strict protocols to which they must adhere are enough to keep all eyes of the world on them.

For some time now, the most talked about members of the family were Prince William and Kate Middleton. Millions of royal fans were thrilled beyond belief when the couple announced the news of their third child.

For nine months, we all waited with great anticipation for the birth to finally arrive. The Duke and Duchess did an excellent job of keeping us in the dark about all of the vital details concerning their unborn child.

When the long-awaited day finally arrived, we were overcome with joy to hear that their third child was a happy, healthy little boy named Prince Louis. His utterly adorable older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were thrilled that their little baby had finally arrived.

During the time Kate was pregnant, she had a bit of royal competition in the baby department. Prince William’s first cousin, Zara Tindall, was also with child. Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne, the Queen’s Daughter.

This added all the more excitement to the family knowing that the Royals were growing by leaps and bounds. On June 18th, she gave birth to a daughter, making it her second with husband, Mike Tindall.

This new arrival is now 19th in line to the British royal throne and is the seventh great-grandchild for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Her older sister, four-year-old Mia, was unbelievably excited to have a little baby, especially a sister!

After a week of waiting, the happy couple finally released the official name of their youngest daughter, and it’s more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Her name is Lena Elizabeth Tindall, and she was born weighing nine lbs., 3 oz. at the Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire.

She is the ray of sunshine the family so desperately needed because Mike and Zara had previously suffered a miscarriage just two years prior. During this heartache, they were overcome with thankfulness to at least have their happy, healthy daughter, Mia, for comfort.

We are so thankful that Zara had a healthy pregnancy and that she and little Lena are both doing well. We can’t wait to watch Lena and Louis grow up in the coming years!
