On May 19th, the world waited as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged vows in the brilliant and beautiful St. George’s Chapel. With more than two billion viewers, the world watched as one of the most magical love stories began.
Amongst the attendees were everything from ex-girlfriends to Oprah, and of course, the Queen herself. Media covered nearly every aspect of the Royal Wedding, leaving Royal Fans in utter satisfaction. But shockingly enough, one major moment was nearly overlooked!
While hundreds of thousands lined the streets of Windsor hoping to catch a glimpse of the Royals heading to the wedding, anticipation developed with each passing moment. First, A-list guests came by foot, following members of the Royal Family- starting with the handsome groom, Prince Harry.
Rolls Royces carried the esteemed Royal Family to the venue. Fans cheered as they got peaks of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. But it was when the Queen was spotted in a Rolls Royce that the crowd truly cheered- for it meant that the bride was only minutes away.
But before festivities started, the Queen was photographed en route to Windsor when a fan snapped a very shocking photo! The photo captured the Queen sharing the backseat with an incredibly shocking fellow passenger!
Believe it or not, Queen Elizabeth was accompanied by one very special canine. And no- it wasn’t one of her beloved Corgis!
Meghan’s adopted beagle, Guy, was the lucky passenger who drove to the wedding with Her Majesty! It’s true! Meghan’s beagle who made the move to England many months ago rode privately in the Rolls Royce with Queen Elizabeth on the way to Harry and Meghan’s wedding. Of course, Guy didn’t show up at the royal wedding, but he definitely shared a ride with the Queen on the way there!
Guy, was immediately gushed over on social media! The Kentucky beagle who has originally been dropped off a shelter and placed on the euthanize list was adopted by Meghan prior to meeting Prince Harry. She moved him out to England when she made the move herself, and since then he’s been living the royal life!
Can you believe the Queen rode to the wedding with a stray beagle?! Truly this is one of the most untraditional moments of the day, but we can’t help but love it!
