Heartbreaking headlines were shared around the world this morning when superstar musician, Terence Prejean, was announced dead. He was 52 years old.
According to Billboard, Terence (also known as “Big T”) passed away after a sudden at the hospital. The cause of death has not officially been released but his close friend believes that he had a heart-attack.
The Houston-based rapper has been making hip-hop and rap music since the 1990’s. Known by the world as “Big T” and “Million Dollar Hook Man,” he created a major name for himself with the catchy song, “Wanna Be A Baller.”
His love for music came at an early age; Terence was known to make music as young as five. His father was musical as well and likely influenced his love for music and sounds. His sister, Ann, shares that he has been making music his life and that he died does what he loved.
Once the heartbreaking news was learned by the music community, fans and other celebrities took to social media where they shared their condolences.
Many remembered the way that Terence worked to create new and catchy tunes while others remembered his loyalty.
Plans for a funeral service have not been released but it will likely be shared once Big T’s cause of death has been cleared.
Terence is survived by his wife and children. Please pray for his family and loved ones left behind.
