RECALL: Campbell's Is Recalling Thousands Of Cans Of Soup. Check Your Pantry!
Over 3,600 cans of Campbell Soup has been recalled. The recall was issued due to "misbranding and undeclared allergens." The soup contains milk, but it isn't listed on the product label.
The recalled soups are any 18.6-oz. can of “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta” with Best By date of Feb. 13, 2019. Check the bottom of the cans for date.
This recall has been declared a Class I recall.
Recalls of this kind mean that "there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death."
Customers complained that Campbell's label on the soup didn't match the actual contents. The label said “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta,” but the can contained “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs in Chicken Broth” instead. Not only was it a soup consumers didn't intend to buy, but it also contained different ingredients that could be harmful to some people.
