The time is drawing oh so near for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to welcome their little baby into the world!
Sources have confirmed that Duchess Meghan is truly nearing the end of her pregnancy because she has officially taken a break from all of her royal duties to begin maternity leave.
As any new parent knows, preparing for a newborn is a hefty task. From readying the nursery to ensuring you have all of the appropriate baby gear is an absolute must and can be rather time-consuming.
Meghan fully knows the task ahead of her, so she is giving herself time to get everything ready and prepared before the little one’s grand arrival.
From what we know so far, they already have the nursery in an orderly fashion, tastefully styled and decorated in calming, neutral colors and decor.
Because both Meghan and Harry are active, working members of the royal family, they will quickly be back to work in the months following the arrival of their son or daughter. Much like the rest of us working parents, they’re already planning ahead.
Since their life, undoubtedly will be even more hectic and busy than before, they’ve fallen right in line with the practices of the other working royals: they’ve found themselves a nanny!
Needless to say, when it comes to the welfare and care of an heir to the British royal throne, this isn’t a position they take lightly. Per Meghan’s typical habits, she is said to be taking the more “American” approach for nanny-hunting and is actively pursuing what has now been deemed as a “manny.”
A manny is an ever-increasing term for a male nanny and one that many young parents in the United States have opted to try. An insider told: “Hiring a ‘manny’ is far more common in the U.S. - a nation that Meghan is more in tune with than the U.K. She’s keen to introduce the Royal Family to what she considers a more enlightened, modern, American approach.”
Only time will tell just who the lucky manny will be! Until then, we’ll just be (im)patiently awaiting the arrival of Baby Sussex!!
