This might be the best thing to ever happen in Royal Fashion!
On June 18th, one of the biggest recreational events took place in Great Britain: The Royal Ascot. A five-day racing event that dates back to 1711, the Royal Ascot has since served as an event where Royals proudly show up to root for pick of the races.
In recent years, it’s been recorded to be more than 300,000 people attend the fine event every year, but even with such an extensive guest list, the Royals are amongst the most iconic and esteemed.
This year, the Royal Family and the Royal Ascot treated fans to a sight they’d never seen before!
For the 2019 Royal Ascot, Queen Elizabeth, Kate Middleton, and Princess Beatrice wowed fans by color coordinating their outfits and wearing the exact same shade of blue!
The royals looked absolutely angelic in their pale sky blue dresses and hats.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore an gorgeous cornflower blue dress with sheer sleeves by Elie Saab and a matching Philip Tracey hat with a delicate flower detail.
Princess Beatrice opted for a “pastel blue guipure lace dress complete with short sleeves and a Peter Pan collar.” Her flat brimmed straw hat featured a beautiful multi-colored tassel by Bundle MacLaren.
And Her Majesty the Queen dazzled in amongst her younger relatives in a light blue ensemble paired with her signature gloves and wide-brimmed hat by Angela Kelly.
The three royals were exquisitely dressed and fans we’re thrilled to see three of the leading Royals in nearly identical ensembles! By the looks of out the outfits, I think it’s safe to say that the Royal Ascot is off to a fantastic start!
