Smidge Hates Getting Her Nails Trimmed, But With The Help Of Her Emotional Support Toy She Gets Through It

February 28, 2018

If there is one thing that dogs hate the most in this life, it is probably a visit to the groomers. Their least favorite part of all is definitely the nail trim! It’s so easy for a novice to mess up a nail trim and cause them pain, that dogs tend to be very cautious when it’s time to get their paws done.

One little Corgi named Smidge is always scared of getting her nails done! She always fights them and wants to be left alone, afraid that they’re going to mess it up and hurt her. Luckily, she found a great way to get through the frightening process that seems to work quite well for her!

Whenever Smidge gets her nails trimmed, she holds her favorite stuffed toy, a brown bison, in her mouth! Holding her stuffed toy in her mouth, she uses it much like a little kid would hold their blanket at night. It’s clear that this toy brings her comfort, and she also happens to look truly adorable with it. Thankfully, her nails don’t need done all the time so we’re sure she’ll get through it with no problem now!
