April 06, 2017

Easter is just around the corner! This DIY project is easy and super cute!

These DIY yarn Easter eggs are adorable and will last for years. They are also a great project to do with the kids.

DIY Yarn Easter Eggs

1 cup Liquid Starch (Sta Flo brand works best)

1/2 cup Flour

Embroidery Thread in various colors

Water Balloons

Disposable Container

Mix the flour and liquid starch. Mix until all the lumps are gone.

Pour it into disposable container.

Add string. Coil it around the edge of the container, making sure to not tangle the string.

Blow up the balloons.

Wrap the string tightly around the balloon. One package of thread should be enough unless you want a denser egg, you can add more thread.

Let dry overnight.

Pop the balloon. Remove the balloon.

And there you have it, super cute yarn eggs!
