When people found a homeless German Shepherd living near a medical clinic they knew exactly who to call!

Eldad and other "Hope For Paws" volunteers rushed to the scene after receiving the call.

After making sure that no one in the clinic owned the dog, Eldad and his friend Lisa went to work.

Hiding amongst the vast bushes in front of the clinic, the Shepherd did not want anyone near him!

Eldad attempted to block him in but the Shepherd bolted for the street, almost running into oncoming traffic!

Even with the temptation of food the dog would not come anywhere near Eldad and Lisa.

The clinic's security staff were anxious to help; one of the guards coaxed the Shepherd into a back lot while the other guards closed the gates behind and in front of him.

The dog became even more skittish so Eldad had to work fast to subdue him; as the dog ran passed, Eldad was able to use a gentle snare to catch him.

Finally, Eldad was able to calm the Shepherd down and give him a burger to eat.

Moving quickly, but gently, they were able to get the Shepherd, which they named Mozart, into a transport cage.

They had noticed that Mozart smelled very bad and were anxious to get him medical attention.
