The Duke of Cambridge and His Son Have This Disney Classic Movie In Common And It Proves That They’re More Like Us Than We Realize

February 19, 2018

Over the weekend, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the British Academy Film Awards. The two looked absolutely radiant and caused some pleasant pandemonium amongst the actors and actresses. Turns out, the royal couple was quite excited to spend the night celebrating films.

After the event, Kate got caught up in a conversation with the director of one of her family’s favorite animated film, Coco. Together, Kate and director Lee Unkrich chatted about the success of the movie and Kate even shared her own affection for the film!

As a mother to two littles with a third one on the way, Kate shared that her four and a half-year-old son, Prince George, are big fans of the movie, Coco. She shared that it’s one of her son’s favorite movies!

As it turns out, the little prince quit loves animated films. In fact, he and his father, The Duke of Cambridge, have bonded quite a bit over some great Disney classics. Sounds like this father-son duo is just like us!

At the British Academy Film Awards, The Duke shared that his and his son’s favorite movie was none other than the classic, The Lion King! The Lion King also happens to be my favorite movie so I thought this was pretty awesome!

What’s your animated favorite movie? Is it a classic like The Lion King or is a newer movie like Coco? We want to know!
