As the blissful holiday season quickly approaches, it’s time to start getting geared up for what lies ahead. Parties, gatherings, programs, and festivities galore will be happening back-to-back.

Everywhere you go, you know you need to have an appetizer, entree, or dessert option planned to feed the hungry crowd. With these many arrangements, though, how does one make the time to prepare enough to satisfy people of all ages?

Lucky for you, I’ve got just the recipe that will tick the boxes off any tastebud checklist and, after just one bite, your friends and family will be knocking on your door begging for the recipe! Meet the oh-so-delicious Christmas Crack, your new holiday BFF.

This delightfully decadent dessert is just what your sweet tooth ordered! It’s packed with incredible flavor. It’s sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy, chocolatey, and everything in between.

Not only does it taste out of this world, it’s mind-blowingly easy to make. It’s a great dessert to make in large batches which will certainly simplify your every-growing holiday schedule.

To make Christmas Crack, you’ll need:
1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 12 oz. package dark chocolate chips
Heath toffee bits
white chocolate, melted

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place saltine crackers side by side in an even layer. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar. Boil over medium-high heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour mixture evenly over crackers. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.

Once done, remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate atop. Let stand for 5 minutes and spread chocolate evenly across. Sprinkle toffee bits on top of chocolate layer and drizzle with melted white chocolate. Put in refrigerator for one hour or until cooled completely.

Remove from refrigerator and break into pieces. Store in air-tight container until ready to serve.
