When the American actress Meghan Markle found her match in Britain’s most eligible bachelor, Prince Harry, the rest of the world quickly hopped on board their love train. And it’s a good thing we did because boy is it an exciting ride!
The couple married on May 19th, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. With more than 29 million viewers, Harry and Meghan exchanged their vows. With their love story just beginning, we can’t help but wonder all that it will bring.
But one thing we know for sure is the fashion and beauty phenomenon that they’re calling, “The Meghan Markle Effect.”
If you’ve seen Meghan in any capacity, you know that she’s paving her own way of fashion in the Royal Family. Her fashion choices are entirely her own; everything from her Givenchy wedding dress to her casual day to day outfits, Meghan to dress with classy and straightforward neutrals.
While the Royal has gotten quite a bit of flack for her look, thousands utterly adore her look. Rather than dressing a variety of color, she’s been favoring whites and beiges.
But since becoming Royal, the Duchess has chosen to wear only neutrals. And rather than looking bland and tired, she looks totally radiant and gorgeous! Other than the Queen’s Trooping the Colour, Meghan has worn only white and beige. During Trooping the Colour, she opted for a lovely muted blush color that complimented her fresh honeymoon tan.
That’s not to say that she won’t wear color in the future! When Meghan operated her blog, The Tig, she often modeled vibrant and playful outfits that screamed color. Of course, she looked stunning in bold colors.
Her choices to wear neutrals is upsetting a lot of people, but Royal fans know exactly what she’s doing. Just like her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, Meghan is branding herself in her new family. Kate Middleton did the same thing in opting for clothing options that weren’t as prevalent in the Royal Family. And the Kate Effect is widely popular; nearly any outfit that the Duchess of Cambridge wears almost immediately sells out due to her massive popularity. The Meghan Markle effect is quickly proving to have the same influence!
