Everyone is being urged to double check their Instant Pot after the company publicly shared of its recent recall.

The Instant Pot product Gem 65 8-in-1 Multicooker is raising concerns after reports getting too hot and melting kitchen counters and causing damage to the product itself. As a fire hazard, the company is asking consumers to not use their Gem 65 8-in-1 Multicooker until further notice.

If you have this model, make sure not to use it until it has been cleared by corporate. To learn if your model is affected by this issue, look on the silver label on the underside of the cooker; if the batch code is 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734, and 1746, Instant Pot wants you “to immediately stop the use of the product.”

The Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, the brands most popular product, is still okay and has not been reported against.
