The odds of having identical twins are rare. Having a set of identical twins like Abigail and Isobel are literally one in a million!
Abigail and Isobel were both born with Down's syndrome.
These adorable twins were born in the United Kingdom. Mom and Dad found out about their diagnosis when the girls were a few weeks old.
Mom remembers the doctor telling them he was sorry. To this day she still doesn't understand why he would have said that because she wouldn't change their situation for anything in the world.
She loves her little girls so much! Abigail and Isobel make everyone laugh and smile.
How cute are they?!
Raising two children with Down's syndrome has it's difficulties.
Big brother Finlay understands this and is such a great helper!
The girls are now 5 years old and are in school. Their parents realize that there will be learning difficulties but want them to thrive.
Mom and dad believe that people's views on Down's syndrome have come from a lack of education. For that reason they created the website, Twincess. Because their girls are twins and princesses. How fitting?!
It's purpose is to celebrate Down's syndrome. Life with Down's syndrome is a life worth living.
Their life wouldn't be the same without the twins.
Abigail and Isobel are such lucky girls to have such a wonderful loving family!
I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things they do in their lives.
This video and their story are truly incredible!
