They are the future King and Queen of England so the eyes of the world are on them, both professionally and privately. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a bit of time before William’s ascension to the throne, however, so for now, their most important roles are as Mum and Dad to two of the most adorable little ones we’ve ever seen, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
By all accounts, the Royal couple are typical, modern, hands-on parents, and believe in giving affection to their children openly, and personally overseeing their care. Gone are the days of stuffy upbringing by nannies and long absences from their parents. Instead, the young Royals often travel around the world with their parents as the Duke and Duchess fulfill their official duties.
We love seeing photos of the Royal Parents just being “Mum and Dad” and catching a glimpse of the normal, loving relationships they have with their children. It’s heartwarming to see that George and Charlotte are enjoying a relatively normal childhood - a feat that is not so easy amid all the pomp and circumstance associated with being members of the Royal Family.
With child number three due to arrive in April, we thought it would be fun to reflect on how The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, affectionately known as Kate and William, are doing so far, in the parenting department.
In the few short years since George’s birth in 2013, photographers have captured some of the most adorably intimate moments between the Cambridges and their progeny. And we are happy to share a few of those with you.
With all the love and affection they have to give, it’s no wonder that William and Kate are choosing to expand their family. As much as we love watching George and Charlotte grow up, we hope they bring as many children into the world as they wish. And we can hardly wait to meet the newest Cambridge in just a couple of months.
