They Were Hoping To Catch Fish Off The Gulf Of Mexico. What They Caught Instead Is MIRACULOUS! [VIDEO]
When two families set out to celebrate a birthday off the Gulf of Mexico, they were only planning on catching some fish and keeping their birthday tradition alive.
But, when Bruce Knecht noticed something bobbing on the surface of the water the party turned their boat to go investigate.
What Bruce thought was a buoy, turned out to be a small Jack Russell terrier wearing a tiny orange life preserver.
The dog's nose was just bobbing above the water when the two couples pulled up to rescue him!
Michael Sahr reached down and pulled the little dog out of the water; then they turned the boat around and headed for shore.
When they notified the coast guard they found out the dog's owner had reported him overboard 3 HOURS prior to the rescue.
The owner had gone down into his boat to check something and when he came back up his dog had disappeared into the water!
The owner had searched as long as he could and had all but given up hope of ever finding his small dog, which he named Jaegermeister; that's when he got the call that his dog was alive and well!
The two families took Jaegermeister to the nearest coast guard station where he was reunited with his overjoyed owner!
