This Adorable Dog Could be the Next 'First Dog' in the White House! You'll Fall in Love, Trust Me

December 15, 2016

This three-month-old ball of adorable energy could be on his way to the White House!

Patton, the golden doodle, belongs to Lois Pope, a Palm Beach socialite who lives near Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.

Pope said that she showed Trump a photo of the sweet puppy during Thanksgiving and he was smitten at first sight. "Show this dog to Barron. He will want him!"

When Barron saw Patton, his eyes completely lit up, and instantly felt the same as his father about the sweet dog.

Not only is the dog precious, but his name holds a special meaning to Trump. General George Patton, the legendary WWII veteran, is a man that Trump has always admired, and that's exactly who this dog was named after.

What do you say, Mr. President-elect? Is it a yes?!
