Two-year-old Nain Dominguez was playing with his older sibling in Colorado Springs, Colorado, when he disappeared. An Amber Alert was sent out around 5:40 pm on Saturday, March 17, and people began to search for Nain, praying to bring him home safely. When the Amber Alert went out, they were looking for a white van they believed to be connected to his disappearance.

At 7:18 in the morning on Sunday, March 18, police called off the Amber Alert after finding Nain. He was in life-threatening condition, so he was rushed to the hospital immediately. Unfortunately, he did not survive. Police are not yet revealing the cause of death or what happened to the two year old, but they have called off the search for the white van, as it is no longer a vehicle of interest.

This tragedy is a reminder to all of us to be vigilant with our children and grandchildren. If you see something out of place or someone who looks off and you think may be a danger, don’t hesitate to report it. Please keep Nain’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they are faced with something that no one should ever have to go through, the loss of a child.

This is a horrible story, and we know that sometimes we need a reminder of the good in the world after a horrible time like this, so check out the video below!
