Jaden Watts was spending the afternoon with his grandmother. While she was in the salon getting her hair done, Jaden ran next door to GameStop to look at the Xbox-One game consoles. Jaden asked the store employee about the pricing of the units and told them that his birthday was coming up. He said that he was saving his own money because his parents couldn’t afford to get him one. That's when something extraordinary happened.

Lucky for Jaden, two men overheard his predicament and decided to do something about it. Washington Redskins players Rob Kelley and Keith Marshall happened to be inside the store at the same time and approached the boy to find out a little more.

After speaking with Jaden for a few moments, the players found the grandmother and asked to ask if it was OK if they purchased the Xbox for him.

“The first thing I’m thinking is there’s some pedophile trying to buy my grandson an Xbox,” Watts’ grandmother Saundra said. “So I’m like, I’m going to bust up in there and bust his bubble.” To her surprise, the two men were professional football players, and suddenly everyone was cool.

Kelley had overheard Jaden talking about having to save up to pay for the game, and thought “I wish someone would’ve done something like that for me when I was growing up.” He reportedly spoke with Marshall, and the two agreed to buy Jaden a Xbox-One and a copy of NBA2K18.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Jaden is one lucky boy!
