From the moment a child is born into the British royal family, they instantly have a role set aside just for them. They carry a lofty, regal name and automatically fall into the ranks of the lineage. From a very young age, they soon begin to accompany their parents to public engagements and official appearances.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have done an excellent job in teaching their small children the ropes of the family business. Prince George (4) and Princess Charlotte (2) have already won over the hearts of the world and know their role in the grand scheme of things. Once they were officially introduced to the world, their title was announced along with their official occupation.
As of late, we were reminded just what Princess Charlotte’s title and occupation are, and to call them impressive would be a serious understatement. On her birth certificate, her name is listed as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge. Her occupation is Princess of the United Kingdom.
As a two-year-old, it’s quite a mouthful to tell others. Imagine when she learns how to write her name! It might take a while to get it down to a T. It’s safe to say it’s quite a hefty name for such a small person. Her unborn sibling already has a name in waiting, and it’s as magnificent.
We patiently await the birth of the newest member of the family and cannot wait to see just how the family transitions to a family of five.
