If you have ever been a dog owner, chances are you have posted one or two or maybe 50 different photos of your pet for the world to see. It is no surprise that anyone who owns a dog thinks that their furry friend is the cutest thing on the planet. This was most definitely the case with Jeff and Brittni Vega.
The couple obviously thought their two dogs named Harlow and Indiana were adorable in every way so, naturally, they posted a picture for the whole world to see. They had no idea, however, that the whole world would fall in love with their dogs just as much, if not more than they did.
Harlow, a big lovable Weimaraner, was always the big lug of the family. He was obviously not a lap dog but he loved being as close to his family as he possibly could. When the family introduced Indiana, a miniature dachshund, into the fold, they weren't sure how Harlow would respond.
All doubts were laid to rest rather quickly because Harlow took to his new tiny sibling without a second thought. The two pups became best friends instantly and did everything together. Their mom, Brittni posted photos and videos of them on social media, daily, and soon they had over a million followers. Brittni even wrote a book about the two best friends, which became a New York Times best seller. Needless to say, the world was hooked on the two doggie besties.
The two dogs quickly became famous for doing their favorite thing in the world, cuddling. Everyone thought that the doggie duo couldn't possibly be any cuter but they were wrong. The duo soon became a trio when the family added yet another miniature dachshund to the home. A little spitfire named Reese. Reese was immediately accepted by his older brothers and the internet fell in love all over again.
The doggie trio got calls to appear in many commercials and their adorable stardom reached new heights. Their mom and dad wanted the dogs' celebrity potential to be used for good and quickly devised a plan that would help dogs everywhere. In addition to their personal Instagram account, Brittni started an account that featured the doggie brothers with dogs that needed forever homes. Many of the dogs on the account have since been adopted, all thanks to their friends Harlow, Indiana, and Reese.
Brittni went on to write yet another book about her adorable dogs and, as you may have guessed, it soared to the top of the New York Times best seller list. While the dogs may have been internet sensations, they did not seem to let it go to their head. They were perfectly content with staying at home and cuddling together and if their mom wanted a few pictures to post, that was perfectly fine with them. You can follow all of the doggie trio's shenanigans on their Instagram account which you can find HERE.
