His personality, genuine spirit, unbridled kindness, and adoration for his people are just a few of the reasons why people across the globe adore him so.
Whenever he has to go on a tour, he makes sure to take the time and speak with all of the fans and well-wishers, showing that he truly does care about each and every one of them.
From time to time in these interactions with the public, he has been known to divulge a bit of additional information about his growing family that often wouldn’t have been heard otherwise.
This very scenario happened just recently when he made a special visit to Blackpool where he met with a group called Dads 4 Life. Now that he’s become a father of three, he seems to be well in his element when surrounded by a crowd such as this.
While there, he made a rather comical comment that has since gained internet-wide attention.
One of the gentlemen present brought up his own daughter. While they were talking, the man mentioned how he had often struggled when trying to style his daughter’s hair. Because of his difficulty, he had gotten creative enough to check out YouTube in hopes of getting a little bit of assistance in that department.
As soon as this topic was mentioned, William began to grin because he could certainly relate to this man on a whole new level.
Having a daughter of his own, William knows a thing or two about trying to tame a little girl’s hair. One thing he learned very quickly was that it was a much more significant struggle than trying to fix a little boy’s hair.
He quickly offered his word of advice for the struggling father by saying, “Never try to do a ponytail! Nightmare!”
Kate was by his side during this exchange and chimed in. “Have you ever tried to do a plait? It’s the weaving...really hard.” William followed her saying, “I can do [a] ponytail, but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practice on!”
The comical exchange between the two has quickly spread across the internet like wildfire. While it might seem like a relatively unimportant conversation, it proves that the Duke and Duchess, though they virtually have the world at their fingertips, are much more like you and I than we truly realize.
