It’s time for another round of Royal Nicknames!

Ahh, the British Royal Family. For decades, millions of people have been themselves completely captivated by the traditions, protocols, jewelry, and drama of the iconic Royal Family. I don’t know about everyone else, but I mind myself completely enameled by their lives.

I’m interested in practically every part of the British Royals. And of course, I have a couple favorites: I simply adore Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children, and of course, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I’ve also always adored Prince Andrew- I just adore his sense of humor!

While the Royals carry heavy burdens and exclusive roles, many of them are surprisingly relatable. Especially the younger generation- Prince William and Prince Harry’s generation.

While Prince William will be King one day, he and his wife, Kate, are very much modern-day royals who show their relational sides quite often.

The lovely King-to-be and his wife have welcomed three children since they April 2011 nuptials: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Of course, the world has fallen in love with the sweet little royals and adores watching grow up.

The young royals, who live in Kensington Palace, are totally smitten with their parents, and of course their grandparents and great-parents. Little Prince George is known for particularly enjoying his Great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

The Royals have always shared nicknames for each other! Queen Elizabeth is also referred to as “Lilibet,” “Gary,” and “Mummy” but her eldest son, Prince Charles. Prince Harry is often called, “Haz,” and Kate is lovingly called, “Poppet” by her husband, while Kate refers to William as my “My William.” It’s not necessarily a nickname, but it is quite endearing- don’t you think?

Finally, the nicknames are are being established by the youngest generation of Royals! Prince George and Princess Charlotte adoringly call Queen Elizabeth “Gan Gan.” Is that not the most adorable name ever?

Recently, Kate revealed that Gan Gan isn’t the only Royal lucky enough to receive a nickname from the little Royals- they also have a name for their dad, Prince William!

While most little children called their dad, “Dada” or “Daddy,” Prince George and Princess Charlotte called their father, “Pops!”

We were stunned when we learned that William was called “Pops” by his children! The term seems rather Western, however, PEOPLE source, Fiona Sturgess, overheard Kate talking to fan, saying “Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’”

How cute is that? We love that nickname! We wonder how much longer they’ll be calling him “Pops,” or better yet, how much longer he’ll be answering to it.
