In between diaper changes, hourly feedings, and interrupted sleep, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have, once again, shown the world just exactly what kindness and thoughtfulness look like.

In the wake of their seventh wedding anniversary celebration, and less than a week after the birth of their third child, the couple took time out of their hectic schedules to send a sweet message to all their fans, delighting them, one and all!

Posted to the Kensington Royal Instagram account, was a heartfelt communiqué in response to the care and affection the world has expressed to them during the monumental events of the past week, William and Kate released a brief but much-appreciated 'thank-you' to everyone who sent their good wishes on their anniversary.

Even though the couple was unlikely to have found time to celebrate the way most couples would like, they did manage to mark the occasion in their own way.

"Seven years ago today - thank you for all the lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding anniversary!"

Accompanying this short but sweet sentiment was a throwback photo of the newlyweds as they drove away from their wedding ceremony and into the sunset.

We want to add our good wishes to the thousand that the couple has already received, and wish Kate and William the best of everything in the coming year, and in their entire married lives.

Thank you for all the joy you have brought us - with not only the many kindnesses you have given and the sacrifices you have made - but also for the gift of your three delightful children.

We could not be more excited for the years to come as we have the profound pleasure of watching them grow into the strong, intelligent, kind, and regal people they are meant to be.

Now, enjoy this trip down memory lane, as we see the Town Crier announcing the birth of that brand new bundle of royal joy, Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge.
