The devastation of Hurricane Harvey has left many homeless, with nowhere to go and no way to escape. People are bound to their homes and in some cases, the only way to leave is by boat, an uncommon watercraft that not many possess or have access to. Thankfully, two kind souls, Morgan and Charlie, set out on a journey to save as many people as humanly possible with a pontoon boat built for 12.
They begin their dangerous journey in high, swift waters while praying the current doesn’t sink them in the process. The path they must travel is not your typical waterway; several feet under is just your ordinary sidewalks and asphalt. Risking their lives, they continue searching for those in need of help. Reaching out to as many as they possibly can, and with amazing helping hands, they start loading their boat with adults, children, cats, and dogs. This pontoon, buiult for 12, is now holding 25 people and 12 pets.
It’s a rescue like you’ve never seen before. Heading for higher ground, they continue battling swift currents and debris. With amazing navigation skills and incredible teamwork, they’re able to beat the odds and save many lives in this flooded neighborhood. You won’t want to miss out on this amazing rescue and the unity that takes place in this Texas community.
