Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, has given birth to a baby girl!
Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne. This is her second child but third pregnancy. Zara suffered from a miscarriage during Christmas in 2016.
Zara and her husband, Michael Tindall, have a four-year-old daughter named Mia who they have called their “saving grace” during their struggles with fertility. Little Mia is now a big sister and Zara and Mike are thrilled to watch her love their newest little girl.
The couple's announcement of their third pregnancy came in November 2017 after they had dealt with the loss of the second baby in 2016. Zara and her cousin, Prince William, were thrilled to be expecting around the same time. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Prince Louis on April 23rd, 2018.
Buckingham Palace announced on June 19th that the newest royal was born on 18th June, at Stroud Maternity Unit. The weight of the baby was 9lbs 3oz. Mike was with Zara during the birth.
The Queen, of course, was the first to know outside of the birth and was thrilled to have another great-grandchild. Her legacy is blossoming in beautiful ways and surely she couldn’t be more proud.
The couple has not made an appearance since welcoming their daughter and the child’s name has yet to be released.
We are so thrilled for Zara and Mike as they welcome a healthy baby after suffering such a loss. We are praying for a healthy baby and quick recovery for Zara.
