Canyon Climber Noticed Something Unusual On His Hike. He Was SHOCKED To Find THIS At The Bottom Of The Canyon! [VIDEO]

When Zach went rappelling into a canyon one Saturday morning he was expecting a normal day. 

After a relatively easy hike, Zach began to rappel further into the canyon! 

Once he was about 150 ft. below the surface, Zach noticed something on the canyon floor. 

To his shock Zach realized that it was a PUPPY! 

After making sure the pup was ok, Zach immediately climbed out of the canyon to get food and water bowls. 

Taking the bowls and a blanket back down with him, Zach rappelled back to the puppy. 

Zach then realized that the puppy could not have gotten to the bottom of the canyon on its own without serious injury; unfortunately someone had abandoned the poor pup. 

The next day Zach was able to rappel back into the canyon with a dog carrier to rescue the pup.

Once they had climbed back out, Zach rushed the puppy to the vet.

After being checked out at the Vet, the pup, who's name is Riley, was able to go home with Zach!

With a lot of love and the healthy food, the once starved puppy is now thriving with his new family!

Riley and Zach were even invited to the Ellen show to tell there amazing story!

Riley is even going on hikes with Zach with no fear of abandonment!
