Adorable French Bull Dog Lost Both Of Her Eyes. But, It May Be The Best Thing To Ever Happen To Her [VIDEO]
Milly, the adorable French bulldog, was dealt a rough start in life. She was the runt of the litter and born with a genetic defect. Due to over breeding complications, Milly's eyes were extremely out of proportion to her head. Milly weighed under a pound and had the eyes of a regular French bulldog pup.
Because they bulged out of her head so much, Milly developed infections in both of her eyes. Fortunately, Milly's issues did not prevent a woman named Christin from adopting her after seeing an adoption ad online. After Christin brought Milly home, she realized that Milly's eye condition was worse than she thought.
Christin was a veterinarian and was able to diagnose the problem after some testing. Milly was diagnosed with cataracts and glaucoma. The pressure in Milly's eyes was so severe that at just 1-year-old, one of them burst. Christin had to make the heartbreaking decision to have Milly's eyes removed. Christin had no idea the impact this would have on Milly's life.
