When I was growing up, there was no shortage of places to explore and amazing things to see. While I lived in town, my friend lived out in the country, in a heavily wooded area. Whenever I would go to his house, we would spend hours playing Robin Hood and exploring new areas of the forest. We would inevitably see wildlife such as foxes, squirrels, and lots of deer. It was always a thrill whenever deer would com around. The people in this story find a baby deer in a tough spot, but they were determined to get him back to his family!
One day, a family was out in their cabin in the woods. The family was on their back porch when they heard strange noises coming from nearby. As the dad listened closer he thought it was the sound of one of the family goats. He assumed the goat had gotten out and needed help getting back in. The father and son went to find the goat, but after a look around, they realized none of their goats were out.
The men could still hear the noises, so they looked high and low for the source. After a bit of searching, they came upon a small baby deer on the ground. The men approached it carefully, so as not to scare it. When they were close enough, the men realized that the little deer had gotten stuck in a gopher hole. Knowing that the fawn was too weak to get itself unstuck, the men set to work on trying to free the little deer. CLICK "NEXT PAGE" TO READ THE REST OF THE STORY... [VIDEO]
