Adorable Deaf Puppy Meets Her Barnyard Pals For The First Time
Puppies are so funny and cute! I almost think the bigger they are, the cuter they are. Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted a Saint Bernard. I think they are one of the cutest puppies out there! They are big, fluffy and a little clumsy too.
Saint Bernards are well known for being friendly, patient and outgoing dogs. They are in no way considered a small dog. The Saint Bernard is a member of the Mastiff family. They can reach a height of 30 inches and weigh up to 180 pounds!
The breed is a part of the working group of dogs. Originally they were used to pull carts and may have been used as watchdogs and companions at the Saint Bernard Hospice in the Swiss Alps. The monks of the hospice realized that the dogs excelled at pathfinding in the snow.
When they realized this, they were used for rescuing people who had gotten lost in the mountains. The dogs would track the person, revive them by licking their faces and then keep them warm until they were rescued. They saved many lives during that time!
The Saint Bernard may look intimidating, but these gentle giants are not aggressive and are quite lovable. They are one of the most popular breeds of large dogs in America. They are not a solitary dog and enjoy their families company.
Frances a fluffy, absolutely adorable Saint Bernard was a deaf puppy. Her new owners were not worried about her being lonely though. You see, they owned a sweet little goat farm called Sunflower Farm Creamery, where Frances would have plenty of friends!
Shortly after arriving at the farm Frances met her new friends. Of, course since she lived on a goat farm, they were goats! Not, just any goats either, these were yoga doing, cheese making, pajama wearing goats!
