If You're Tired Of Your Plain Walls, Try This Inexpensive Way To Give Your Room A Gorgeous Facelift

September 21, 2017

It's always fun to do an update on a room in your home. While the task can initially seem daunting, the reward is always so worth it! One couple decided that it was time for them to give their dining room a little facelift. Their wall had been a shade of brown for some time, and they knew it was time to breathe some new life into the space.

After doing a little research, they agreed upon installing batten board. They knew that this would give their dining area just the warm, cozy look that they had been longing for. The result was more beautiful than they could have imagined!

After all was said and done, this charming wall upgrade cost only around $80. To replicate this look, you'll need a quart of white Ralph Lauren latex paint, about one pint of grey paint, fiberboard for the planks, and pine board for the molding. Check out the video, below, to see just how they achieved this stunning new look!
