RECALL ALERT: Dog Food Brand Issues Recall After Discovering Euthanasia Drug Contamination

April 25, 2017

It seems that this day and age you can never be too careful about what you eat or what you feed your pets.

It seems as though we see FDA recalls left and right! This can be very scary and it's something that you definitely want on your radar.

The FDA has just issued a recall on Cocolicious Beef & Turkey Dog Food and Cocolicious Chicken & Beef by Party Animal Pet Food.

Party Animal Pet Food made the following statement:

"The safety of pets is and always will be our first priority. We sincerely regret the reports of the discomfort experienced by the pet who consumed this food. As pet parents ourselves, we take this matter seriously."

"When we were notified, we immediately tracked the lot numbers of the food in questions and determined that the food had been manufactured and distributed in 2015. We the contacted the two probable retailers that hard sold the customer the food and asked them to isolate all remaining cans from the se lots. If pet parents have cans with either of those lot numbers in their possession, they should return them to the place of purchase and will of course receive a full refund."
