It's insanely easy to create and you can customize it any way you like. You only need five ingredients and thirty minutes to make this pizza magic happen. Simple as that! Check out the recipe below to see how easy it is to put together.
1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust
1/3 c. marinara sauce
1/2 c. shredded cheese (such as mozzarella and cheddar)
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 tbsp. butter
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Unroll your refrigerated pizza crust onto the parchment paper. Using your fingers or rolling pin, press or roll the dough down to form 14x10-inch rectangle. Spread the marinara sauce evenly down the center of the dough. Top the sauce with pepperoni and shredded cheese.
Using a pizza cutter or a knife, cut the dough into strips on either side of the toppings. Fold one strip across the toppings. Fold a strip from the opposite side atop the first strip. Repeat the steps to form a braided top. Brush the finished braid with melted butter and top with Italian seasoning.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the dough is a beautiful golden brown color. Remove from the cookie sheet and onto a cutting board. Slice and serve warm.
