If Prince Harry is anything like his brother, William, or his grandfather, Prince Philip, he will likely forego wearing a wedding band after he ties the knot with Meghan Markle on May 19th. His reason? It seems to be more a matter of personal preference than of any sort of Royal dictate.
Brother William has never worn a wedding band during his seven years of marriage to Kate.
And neither has his grandfather, Prince Philip, during his 70 years with their grandmother the Queen.
On the other hand, Harry’s father, Prince Charles has always worn a ring, during both of his marriages but he doesn’t wear it on his left ring finger, rather on his pinky.
Whatever Harry decides, we’re certain that it will be A-OK with his bride. After all, Meghan has so many protocols, policies, and rules bombarding her at this moment, that the subject of a wedding band for her groom is unlikely to ruffle her feathers!
We’ll just have to wait until May 19th to find out for sure!!
