Meet Asher Nash, an absolutely adorable little boy who had his photos submitted to talent agencies by his mother, Meagan. When Meagan noticed she wasn't getting any calls back, she decided to follow up with one agency to find out what was going on. As it turns out, they told her that his photos weren't being submitted for jobs because companies weren't specifically looking for children with special needs. Asher has Down Syndrome.

Did you know: Down syndrome occurs when a child is born with an extra chromosome. According to National Down Syndrome Society, in every cell in the human body, there is a nucleus, where genetic material is stored in genes.  Genes carry the codes responsible for all of our inherited traits and are grouped along rod-like structures called chromosomes.  Typically, the nucleus of each cell contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, half of which are inherited from each parent. Down syndrome occurs when an individual has a full or partial extra copy of chromosome 21.

This additional genetic material alters the course of development and causes the characteristics associated with Down syndrome. A few of the common physical traits of Down syndrome are low muscle tone, small stature, an upward slant to the eyes, and a single deep crease across the center of the palm - although each person with Down syndrome is a unique individual and may possess these characteristics to different degrees, or not at all.

But Asher's mom, Meagan was not okay with the talent agency's response. She believed Asher, along with all other children, should be included in this talent search regardless of any disability they might have and so do we, I mean... look at this cutie.Asher's stories gained a ton of traction on social media. So much so that he landed a huge campaign ad with OshKosh B'Gosh and Babies-R-Us!! Click "NEXT PAGE" to keep reading... [VIDEO]
