Alert Issued For Missing Autistic Child in New York

March 09, 2018

14-year-old Treyvan Rowe disappeared near his school on March 8, resulting in a desperate search to find this missing boy. Teyvan has been diagnosed with high-functioning autism, and they believe a trigger distracted him from following his usual routine. After losing his phone, Treyvan didn’t follow his usual path into the school, and instead turned right, heading down the street.

Around 5:15pm that evening, police received a 911 call from a child who claimed to be lost in a cemetery. They have now spread their search to include that cemetery. A horrible snow storm has blown into New York, making the search for Treyvan not only harder, but more urgent. They’re hoping to find him before he succumbs to the weather.

Treyvan was last seen around 7:30 am on Thursday, March 8, exiting his school bus on South Avenue in Rochester, New York. Treyvan is 14 years old, stands around 5 foot, 6 inches, and weighs about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and red shoes. If you have any information about Treyvan’s whereabouts or believe you have spotted him, call 911 immediately.
