Days Before Beloved ‘Jeopardy!’ Host Alex Trebek Gives Health Update, News Is Leaked About His Personal Life - Fans Now Fear The Worst

April 18, 2019

Several months ago, the deeply loved Jeopardy! host, Alex Trebek, hit fans with one of the most devastating blows yet - he was suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

This is something that no one ever anticipated hearing, especially because his health had been in such good standing for so many years. Fans poured in with their deepest concerns, thoughts, and prayers all hoping to encourage and support him every step of the way.

“Now, just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Now normally the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working,” he said in his announcement video.

He continued, “With the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease. Truth be told, I have to! Because under the terms of my contract, I have to host Jeopardy! for three more years!” he finished.

While he still has remained in good spirits and continues with his business as usual, fans can’t help but wonder how he really is. As a matter of fact, one particular detail was leaked not long after his health update and fans have been worried even more.

Just one month following his announcement, news sources revealed that the 78-year-old celebrity had chosen to put his California lake house on the market.

Sources say that the home is a “2,595 sq ft vacation home that was built in 2000. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sits on 30 acres of land.” Trebek is selling the property for $1.4 million, and this includes all the furniture and outdoor gear there such as SkiDoos.

The home is ready for immediate rent or living. Whoever chooses to purchase the property will definitely have a monumental home knowing that it once belonged to the legendary Alex Trebek.

Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to battle this horrific disease.
