If you’ve ever been in a car accident or seen one happen, you know just how terrifying they truly are. Even if they lean toward being more “minor,” even if for a moment, your life quickly flashes before your eyes.
You’re deemed seemingly helpless as vehicles collide and crush like fragile, aluminum cans. When this happens, one can only pray that the outcome is safer. Recently, one of the familiar faces on FOX News and his family experienced that very same tragedy, leaving them thanking the Lord above for sparing their lives.
Bret Baier, host of Special Report with Bret Baier, and his family were on a wintery family vacation in Montana. “After a weekend of skiing with my wife and two boys in Montana, driving to the airport Monday morning on icy roads, we were involved in a major car crash,” Baier told in an interview.
Thankfully, moments after the crash occurred, help was just on the way. “Thanks to a man driving by named Zach who stopped and helped, we were able to climb out of the flipped car. And thanks to the first responders and Montana Highway Patrol, we made it to the hospital quickly,” Baier continued.
Not too long after the crash occurred and news began to spread about the accident, Baier took to Twitter to post his thoughts: “Don’t take anything for granted - every day is a blessing - and family is everything. It’s always good to remind yourself of that - before something does it for you.”
The entire family was hospitalized following the accident, but thankfully they were all discharged and miraculously walked away with cuts and bruises. While this certainly could have ended much more tragic, it was a definite wakeup call for Baier.
Please pray that this family will continue to have a speedy recovery in the days to come!
