In 2005, the world was introduced the unstoppable force of Carrie Underwood. In the audition room of the legendary entertainment show, American Idol, Carrie literally stunned the world. Since then, the world has truly been blessed Carrie’s sweet spirit and vocals that anything but ordinary. After winning American Idol, Carrie Underwood went to win multiple Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, CMT Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.
In 2010, Carrie, 35, married a Canadian hockey player named Mike Fisher, 38. The couple was married for five years before announcing that she was pregnant with her first child, a son: Isaiah Michael Fisher, 3.
Carrie has admitted that she may have “missed her mark” with starting a family by focusing on her career but that she was hoping to grow her family more. Aside from focusing on her career, Carrie has been recovering from a “random freak accident” that happened in 2017 when she feels and landed on her wrist and face. Since then, she’s revealed that the last year has been exceptionally difficult for her.
In June 2018, Carrie re-entered the music scene when she performed her new song, Cry Pretty. Since then, she’s received loads of encouragement from her fans and the music community. Carrie is now releasing her album, Cry Pretty, in September 2018. On Wednesday, gave fans some exciting news: she would be taking her new album on tour in 2019!
During her Instagram tour announcement, Carrie addressed the delay of her tour; while her album was coming out in September 2018, her tour wouldn’t start until May 2019. She shared, "You might be wondering or asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well… yay!” As the camera panned up to balloons spelling out B-A-B-Y, Carrie joyfully announced that she and husband Mike and their toddler son were growing their family! The tour would have to be delayed due to her pregnancy!
