Heartbreaking Update In Case Of Missing 5-Year-Old Leads To Arrest Of Parents

April 10, 2018

A 5-year-old Autistic boy named Joseph “Joe Clyde” Daniels from Dickson, Tennessee, disappeared from his home on Wednesday, April 4 leading to a massive man hunt for the missing child. So many volunteers flocked to the scene that the police were even forced to turn some of them away.

Police began to be hopeful that they would find Joe Clyde when they received a credible report of a child seen near his house wandering the streets around the time of his disappearance. Unfortunately, new information has now been released that has led police to fear that they will not be finding him alive.

29-year-old Joseph Ray Daniels, Joe Clyde’s father, has now been arrested in connection to his son’s disappearance. He has now been charged with criminal homicide, as police believe that he killed his son and hid the body.

Police are still searching for the boy’s body and have not given up hope of bringing him home. According to some reports, it appears that his mother has been charged with aggravated child abuse. There is no word on whether any other suspects were involved in Joe Clyde’s disappearance at this time.

Please keep little Joe Clyde in his thoughts and prayers, as well everyone who loved him so and is now faced with this horrific loss. This little boy deserved so much better, and we can only hope that police will discover his body so he can get the burial he deserves.

This is a horrible story, and we know that sometimes we need a reminder of the good in the world at a time like this, so be sure to check out the video below!
