DIY Christmas Mason Jar Gifts

Ah, the gift-giving season is finally upon us! It’s time to start making our lists, checking it twice, making sure to get gifts for both the naughty and nice in our family. Sometimes, that task alone is easier said than done.

If you’re anything like me, you find that your Christmas gifting list grows by leaps and bounds every year. It’s certainly not a bad thing to see that your circle is growing exponentially each year, but sometimes, the effect isn’t so great on your wallet.

After all, all the materialistic gifts only last for a season. The money spent tends to go to waste and the presents are long forgotten merely months after they’re received.

When considering this, it does make one take a step back and reconsider the importance of how to spend money wisely.

Something that many opt to do is to give gifts that have a sincere, personal touch. These types of gifts are a fraction of the cost as traditional ones, yet are filled with an overabundance of meaning.

One idea that would bring great joy to any gift-receiver is a mason jar filled to the brim with tasty goodies. This is a “one-size-fits-all” option that will please anyone!

Blogger and YouTuber, Chelsea from Chelsea’s Messy Apron, put together a brilliantly easy DIY for four variations of these jars. Alongside the step-by-step instructions for assembly, she’s also taken it one step further and included premade recipe cards to accompany the gift.

With a touch of creativity, the little jars can look so good that they don’t even need wrapping. It’s a win-win in anyone’s book!

Check out the video below to see just how simple it is to make these adorably delicious goodies for your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues.
