Drew Peterson May Be Facing New Charges In Death of Stacy Peterson

March 16, 2018

Drew Peterson has long been believed to have killed his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, but has never had charges brought against him for that. Drew has since been convicted of the 2004 murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, as well as attempting to hire someone to murder a prosecutor. Stacy’s sister, Cassandra Cales, has never given up the search for justice, or Stacy’s body.

Cassandra has recently come out and said that Drew Peterson may be handed new charges in Stacy’s case. She recently posted on Facebook that the Will County State’s Attorney and the Illinois State Police “are moving forward to charge Drew, in the near future.” When the state police and Will County state’s attorney’s office were reached for a comment, they did not respond.

Cassandra has never given up the search for Stacy’s body, and blames Law Enforcement for never sending divers down in recovery. She believes that she has proof with a sonar image that her body is still in the Sanitary and Shipping Canal, and has spent every penny she can to find her remains. She has even gone into debt as she struggles to bring Stacy’s body home so that she can receive a proper burial.
