Meghan Markle is America’s pride and joy since marrying Prince Harry of Wales and the world can’t wait to watch her step into her next role as the Duchess of Sussex. With her own past experience as a successful working actress, writer, and humanitarian, Meghan’s had to learn how to hold herself with grace. But now, as a member of the Royal Family, she’s stepping into a whole new playing field.
Meghan is naturally very poised, but being royal is so much more than having good manners; it’s dressing a certain way, greeting people a certain way, responding to all things unexpected a certain way, and maintaining elegance, beauty, power, and pride all at the same time.
While she is poised, she’s also been known to be quite casual (her “messy bun” has sparked all kinds of remarks since entering the family). Because of her relaxed style, she’ll be undergoing intense training, per the Queen’s request.
Queen Elizabeth has requested that Meghan be given her training by none other than her top aide, 49-year-old Samantha Cohen. Samantha has worked for the Royal Family for the last 20 years. She’s assisted with several spouses who have married into the Royal Family including the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge. While she officially resigned in 2017, the Queen has been such a fan of her work that she requested her to be the one to train Meghan before retiring for good.
Samantha and Meghan have already met, and Meghan has had some training by the aide (She was given a brief training for her first appearance as the Duchess of Sussex at Prince Charles’ garden birthday party). Perez Hilton shares that Meghan will be gearing up for a busy six months of intensive royal training with Samantha.
An insider shared that the training will be as follows: “It will be six months of listening. She is seeking out advice from a range of people. She is going to proceed with humility. It is not going to be quiet, though. It is going to be a very busy office. She has worked every day of her life. She is used to a demanding schedule.”
Well, we wish her luck! The Duchess of Sussex has quite a road of ahead of her but we know she will be just perfect! What other kind training to you think she’ll be getting form Samantha? Let us know in the comment section!
