Emotional Interview With Prince William Exposes His Deep Feelings On Being A Father

latest
July 25, 2018

The bond between a parent and child is unlike any other. You’ve heard many say that to have a child is like having your heart walk around outside of your body.

Prince William couldn’t agree more. Since he became a father in 2013, he has made a beautiful transformation. His similarities to his mother, Princess Diana, increase more with each passing day.

It’s apparent to see that he was made for fatherhood and he wants nothing more than what’s the absolute best for his darling littles.

From time to time, we get lucky enough to hear a bit of his true feelings in interviews. In one with BBC, the Prince got more emotional and real than ever before.

When asked about his eldest child, Prince George, he couldn’t hold back his feelings any longer.

“I love my children in the same way any father does, and I hope George loves me the same way any son does to his father. We are very normal in that sense,” he admitted.

As soon as the internet caught wind of this confession, people were astonished at how similarly he favored Princess Diana with his words. She, too, took the role of parenting more serious than any other.

He was then asked if Prince George knows what’s to come for him in the future.

William replied, “There’ll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in the world...But right now, it’s just a case of keeping a secure, stable environment around him and showing him as much love as I can as a father.”

Again, he reminds us that his number one goal right now is to nurture and love George, alongside Charlotte and Louis, and make sure their childhood is full of excitement, love, and memories that will stick with them for eternity.

When they get a bit older, I’m sure he’ll find a suitable time to chat with them about their family and the role that they’ll soon take on.

Until then, their main focus is to simply enjoy being a kid. I think that sounds like a really swell plan!
