Prince George Plays Make Believe At His Grandma’s Store When He Receives The Best Prize Any Kid Could Hope For

July 25, 2018

Being part of the Royal Family, Little Prince George and Princess Charlotte, naturally, have been spotted with their grandparents on Daddy Prince William’s side, but little is known about their relationship with the Mom’s parents, Grandma and Grandpa Middleton. But now we have a cute little tidbit about the darling duo, and we can hardly believe what we are hearing.

Town & Country tells us, “Rebecca English, royal correspondent for the Daily Mail, recently reported that they've also been to work with their grandmother, Carole Middleton. According to English, George and Charlotte have made appearances at Party Pieces, the family-owned party-planning company that is headquartered near the Middletons' home in Berkshire.”

And the best part of the story is what the two little royals do while they are there, and I’m certain that if I ever came upon this charming scene, I wouldn’t be able to restrain myself.

English goes on to share what she learned during her investigations into the Royals. “George has been spotted pretending to be a shopkeeper and receiving a candy reward from his grandmother.

"One visitor spotted George sitting in the ‘front of house,’ exclaiming excitedly ‘Oh my gosh!’ as his indulgent granny gave him a bag of sweets for being a good boy.” I don’t know about you, but I would absolutely shop at any establishment where I had a chance of running into the adorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte!

And what do the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge think about all this ‘spoiling?’ English reports, “"Kate understands only too well that it is a grandparent’s prerogative to spoil their grandchildren — and still laughs about how she once called home from a foreign tour to speak to her mother, who was looking after George, only for him to tell her earnestly that his granny had given him ‘chips, again’ for dinner."

This is priceless! Don’t you love it every time you find out another instance in which we see that royal parents are just like the rest of us??

No doubt the Cambridge grandchildren have a very warm and nurturing relationship with their maternal grandparents, much like so many of us have enjoyed with our own 'Grams and Gramps.' Sounds completely normal in every way, and we are delighted to hear it!

In fact, it has been reported that the Middleton’s are with Kate and William and the kids on their family getaway on the island of Mustique, a favorite vacation spot for Kate’s parents. No word on how the doting grandparents are spoiling the trio, but there's no doubt that they are all loving every minute of it.

A tinge of sadness can't help but put a tiny damper on this heartwarming story, however, when one imagines what it would have been like if Princess Diana had lived to be a grandmother to William's three precious tykes.

There's no doubt in my mind that the beloved Princess of Wales would have taken 'spoiling' to a whole new level!!
