Queen Elizabeth is a woman who knows what she wants and will do what it takes to see her wishes through. After all, she is the Queen!
While she does hold one of the most influential positions in the world, she is still a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family is something that she holds very near and dear to her heart and always is doing her utmost to ensure their protection and security.
Since the family is quite unlike any other, they must do things a bit differently. Those of us from the outside want to know more and more about the family. What are their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and personality quirks that the public rarely gets to see?
It’s even more thrilling when we get a rare glimpse at some of the younger generation, such as Zara Tindall’s two daughters, Mia and Lena, Peter Phillips’ daughters, Isla and Savannah, and William’s three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
As a matter of fact, there’s a definite reason behind why we see them less than we do the royal adults of the family. The reason for it is all because the Queen says so.
Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, dished the decision behind this: “The Queen doesn’t like too much too early. Her belief is that they are children and should stay out of the limelight.”
He continued: “George will know exactly who he is, and William and Kate will want to make sure that his moment of entering royal glory is kept away as long as possible.”
No matter the environment, one of the top priorities is to ensure the stability and overall protection of the little ones. Their platform not only gives them far more power than they realize, but they also garner a grand amount of attention that no child should ever have to endure.
This is just one of the hundreds of reasons to love Queen Elizabeth even more. Despite the hefty load she must carry as Queen, she never lets it get in the way of being the best great-grandmother to her little ones.
What do you think about this? Do you think that the Queen is right by protecting the little ones from media?
